| Off to a meeting |
Been
quite busy with work. I have been in a lot of meetings!! I got to do some counseling with a teenager living in Abuja and it felt great! I miss the
one to one interactions with students. The transition from micro to macro continues… Putting the proposal together is only the base of the mountain as there are so many processes that go into "making it happen" and I feel like I am engaged in all different steps
at the same time through different projects going on in my organization. I have
reviewed proposals from NGOs that want to partner with us, drafted Terms of
References and Edited MoUs with the ones that we are going to partner with. I
have attending planning meetings about what the project is going to look
like and last week I got to represent my organization at the Ministry of Women
Affairs. When they called our name, I said present. Lol…it felt good! Well,
until someone asked me for my business card and I realized that I did not have
any.
I
don’t know what happened but I did not have any Suya last week! I have to sort
that out within the next 72hrs before I travel for my best friend’s wedding.
The family and I were super excited to attend my cousin’s graduation ceremony
–which would be my 5th this summer! Go Tomi!
